It all started with Peter Witt and Johan von Matérn discussing RC modeling fall 2003. Peter, sailor and a former RC fan of boats and cars, and Johan an expert in RC airplanes, designer of an earlier sail boat, CAD designer and competence in working with glassfibre/epoxy. We said: Why not make a boat and a mould of our own?

Known formerly as "BG Radio Yachts & Sails", our products have proven themselves to be highly competitive within any competition from club through to world championship level. Our primary focus is sailmaking for all classes of radio controlled yachts with experience drawn from over 25 years of sailing at championship level in full size dinghy, skiff and model classes.

Firstly, we must announce tht commercial availability of finished RC yachts is suspended because of other commitments taken on by Paul, our builder: He is working full time on the build of a new big boat an this has had to take priority.

I have been involved with model boats virtually all of my life. From sailing boats made from matchboxes with paper sails in neighborhood puddles to building free sailing balsa model boats and yachts to designing, building and racing International class radio yachts many which have won State and National Championships on the way. I have also spent several  years racing larger boats mainly catamarans.

The TS-2 was originally developed in Melbourne Australia in 1993-94 by a group of dingy sailors and has remained very competitive through to the present day.  There are many excellent designs now available in Australia and Internationally and the TS-2 still ranks amongst the best.  The boat was designed by Gary Cameron with the aid of CAD software and is built by myself Craig Smith.
